Publishing 'Calculate Field' as GP service from ArcGIS Pro in 10.8.1.

Question

Hi,

I want to calculate a field based on the inputs fed by users in a feature service. Hence, want to publish 'Calculate Field' as GP service from ArcGIS Pro 2.8 to 10.8.1 arcgis server.

But getting the following error

Is it because of ArcGIS Pro version or something is up with " Calculate Field" tool (Can we really publish this tool? ).

Any insights would be helpful.

Just ran into this same issue. Had to install 2.7 on another machine to publish the service. Very unfortunate that Pro cannot publish backwards compatible versions of GP tools to a server.
