ArcGIS AppStudio latest version 5.5 has been released.ArcGIS AppStudio 5.5 is the "Long-Term Support" (LTS) release for this product, and ArcGIS AppStudio will be the final major release.Support for ArcGIS AppStudio is scheduled to end at the end of January 2025.

Updates included in ArcGIS AppStudio 5.5ArcGIS AppStudio 5.5 includes many enhancements, bug fixes, and component updates to provide users with a robust and reliable platform for building native apps.

ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Qt has been updated to version
100.15.1.ArcGIS AppStudio Cloud Make
now supports Xcode 14 for iOS and macOS builds to comply with Apple App Store requirements as of April 2023.
- When running apps on iOS simulators and Android emulators, ArcGIS AppStudio Player has been replaced by ArcGIS AppStudio AppRun.
- Apps launched on iOS simulators will automatically run using this.For apps targeting Android 13 or higher, Notification Runtime Permissions are now supported.Bitcode is no longer embedded in executables created by cloud or local Make on iOS for security reasons.Executables on Windows are now signed using the SHA256 algorithm to enhance security. The following bugs have been fixed:Text misalignment, truncation, and character set issues when using ArcGIS AppStudio in languages other than English have been fixed.An error occurring during sign-in and license acquisition in ArcGIS AppStudio Developer Edition has been fixed.A bug where the properties table did not display in apps not created from templates has been fixed.On Android, an issue where URL scheme parameters did not work correctly on some devices with app links has been fixed.A crash issue in apps using indoor positioning on Android 12 has been fixed.On Windows, an issue where the bin folder and its contents were not deleted upon uninstalling ArcGIS AppStudio has been fixed.On macOS Ventura, an issue preventing Qt Creator from opening has been fixed.
- Updates to ArcGIS AppStudio AppFramework are as follows:The stayAwake property in the Platform component was fixed so that devices do not enter sleep mode during audio recording.
