In arcmap we can view ENC S-57 format.
Do de same in Pro. Waiting for the S-100 is not a choice for us since now, and for many years, S-57 stay in place.
Having to maintain arcmap just for that is not easy.
There's been a lot of discussion in this thread about the Pop-up window, and it's important to know that the Pop-up window results do not include all of the area features unless you select them by their edges or symbology. This makes ArcGIS Pro's Explore tool unreliable when interrogating ENCs; ArcMap's Identify tool did not have the same problem. This problem must be fixed before my branch can use ArcGIS Pro for our work.

Hi Tom,
You can see in the screen capture that 3 ENC was displayed, depth, contour and rock.
The contour is just displaying itself without labels. The rock is located by a pentagon with its value under it. The depth annotations are located with an octagon and the value on the right of it.
We use this feature since S-57 Viewer was integrated in arcmap. It’s a simple and fast way to see if we have to correct the annotations when applying notice to mariner changes.
If we saw change, we just have to delete the annotations and doing convert lable to annotations to replace them. The only drawback is to do manualy populate the TiledID field since we can do it automatically.
In Pro, we lost this basic feature and worse, you remove the append option to convert lable to annotations (maybe it's return with 3.3). Like ESRI has always wanted to make Pro less productive than arcmap.
So, the ENC picture you show now is maybe nice but unusefull for us. We need the S-57 viewer come back.
@Mike_Espey There is no requirement to have an ArcGIS Maritime license to use the ENC Layer functionality in ArcGIS Pro. Also, with ArcGIS Pro 3.2, pop-ups have been automatically enabled by default for the ENC Layer.

We do not have marine extension, like in arcmap. I do not need to interrogate, just make a rapid check.
So the return of S-57 viewer in Pro is what we need. Until then, we have to stick to arcmap.
OK, if it is available in the basic Pro it will be a step to make it useful when I'm not exporting in 3.2.2 and have to do so in 3.0.x.or if the bug for export in 3,3 is solved.
Unfortunately, I do not want to make a feature, just see the layer like in arcmap. For me, I make a symbol around the sounding values, by example, and look at the value in right of the symbol to see if my data have changed since the annotations was made.

ArcGIS Pro 3.3 has a lot of improvements to the ENC Layer functionality. I believe the introduction of sublayers and the ability to 'Make Feature Layer from Sublayer' allows you to have more control of the symbology and labels of those features. It also allows you to leverage the feature's geometry in various editing operations.
Please let us know of these enhancements at ArcGIS Pro 3.3 do not address your workflow needs.
Any new about the return of S-57 support like in arcmap?
The raster viewer is nice but not what we really need.

Exactly my point. You are in wgs84. So just a viewer not in par with arcmap where you can download in a projected map only one layer an be able to make query and calculations.
Try with a projected map and try to only drop sounding an make a labeling to see them in feet. Impossible in Pro, easy in arcmap.
Still have to work with arcmap since, again, Pro is not a production ready software for us. Maybe in v 4.x

Finally found the dysfunctional between you an me. I suppose you only open the ENC's in an empty map. Try use a map with others layers not in wgs84.
I start a new map an effectively I can load ENC's. The problem still there when trying to do so in projects. Maybe because my projects have projected nad83 view not wgs84.
But, again, it's not what we where use in arcmap. No layers for individual elements nor ability to choose layers nor make transformations.

Maybe in the next release this bug will be clear. Anyway, since the pdf bug is unsolved, I have to go back to 3.0.1 version where pdf still working.
But the bottom line is to remove to flag implemented since the viewer doesn't give what we have in arcmap.
I am unable to reproduce the issue in ArcGIS Pro 3.2. I can drag and drop, and otherwise add ENC data successfully without the ArcGIS Maritime extension.
The datasets do turn off if you're zoomed out. I doubt that's the problem here but I figured I should mention it just in case.
My recommendation is to submit a ticket with technical support and do a screen share to see if we can get to the bottom of this issue. Something is obviously different about what you're experiencing and I'd like to understand why.
You can have all ENC from Noaa download site or SHC if you are registered . So no special ENC.
@MarcelSt-Germain is it possible for you to share your ENC? I'm wondering if there is something unique about your ENC that is causing the behavior you're seeing. If I can reproduce that I can get a bug submitted in the system.

It was correct to have a simple (raster type) in 3.1 but, in 3.2 BASIC, it's now broken. You can add or drag an ENC, but the result is nothing in the view.
You are correct, that for process to have GDB and ENC you need Maritime, but just to view .000 file you do not.
Sorry by your wrong. It's only available on Maritime extension not the basic like in arcmap).
So, still need to make two projects arcmap and Pro to check the ENC. Maybe one day Pro will be useful to replace arcmap.
I do not see any problem with new ArcGIS Pro v3.2 what's relates to ENC.
You can still drag and drop the file and have some information on your ENC data and ability to change the view scale or units to display.
I did tested on our data from different regions and based on the problem with one of the ENS mentioned in these string of comments (here is a snapshot of the functionality).
Like I was saying while back you can create GDB with ENC based template and load your ENC data into GDB (Import S-57 cells to a geodatabase—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation) and you will have total control of the data like in ArcGIS but without symbology like you get used to, but when you load both .000 file and the nealy created GDB with ENC, you will be able to do both (view with symbology and have .gdb to query).
Now I am also thinking that you might need also in Pro make sure that you activated your pop-ups for ENC's.

I am using Pro 3.2.0 Advanced without the Maritime extension. Thus the drag-and-drop should work for you as well as it does for me, and the "ENC Layer" tab will look like this, with the S-52 Symbology and layers per the right-hand side after I clicked Symbology:

I have successfully 'drag-and-dropped' the ENC cell (US4AK3OV at U.S. Office of Coast Survey (noaa.gov)) for the portion of Southern Alaska Peninsula that I surveyed back in 2005-6, seen here in this screen grab.
Note that I have also brought in the bathymetry from that survey, and have made the chart somewhat transparent. The SEAARE name "Cushing Bay" in the west-facing bight on the north end of Mitrofania Island was selected (clicked) to get the following popup:
So if this is not working for you, we may need to see what ENC file you are using and determine if it has some characteristic that is not recognized by the software.

Hi, give a try with 3.2 (even if for production we have to go back to 3.0.1 since the pdf bug is unsolved).
Nice new features but, now even the view of s-57 not available or I lost something.
I try drag-and-dropped or add without success with 3.2 where is was working in 3.1.
So, status implemented is inaccurate. Please make it in consideration or not but even if the viewer work with 3.2 is not the support or s-57 viewer we have on arcmap. A big regression in Pro.
Yes it's frustrating but now I know that S-57 Support is not implemented in 3.1.x
ESRI always want us to move to Pro but can't port basic feature cartographers need. Also for almost 24 years ESRI give and remove and redo features we work with.
I like Pro but, buggy, slowwwwwww, and not in par with arcmap for making maps.

Hi, Still not working for me. Like always, ESRI complicate what they have made simple before.
Effectively, nor drag and drop nor add let S-57 layer show in my project. I finally try in a blank project and I saw raster map of my ENC. Even if I copy and paste the layer on my project, nothing show after "Zoom to layer". I try changing the projection to Nad83 like in my test projection, without success. I try to remove all layers except the ENC one, still the same. Even, drag and drop the same ENC doesn't work.
So not very useful for reference. Also, no way to make calculation nor choosing the only file we need. It's just an ENC viewer not useful for reference since you can't load it on a project.
In arcmap, you can load the layers you need and only them, put the symbology you need and show label you want. We doesn't need an ENC viewer. I always use it to show if change are made in my project with, by exemple, labeling the sound_pt in meter and feet.
Until ESRI finally give us the ability to load ENC, like in arcmap, have to complicate our life with Pro plus a copy in arcmap.

I have ArcGIS Pro 3.1.1 installed, no Maritime extension.
I just drag-and-dropped US5OR37M.000 that I downloaded from NOAA U.S. Office of Coast Survey (noaa.gov) ENC site as part of the zipped current ENC for USCG 13th District. I then right clicked the file and 'zoom to layer' to get this view in my Map window as well as the ribbon change to add "ENC" functions.
When I click on the "Symbology" in that ribbon, I get a change on the right-hand side per below, and changing the Transparency in the top-middle gives me changes in the Map window, too.
Sorry but maybe you have the marine version. In the basic, add or drop .000 files is not working.
So Pro still not advance enough to join arcmap.
