Left trim - Username has @ sign followed by domain.

Question

Using property${'username'} in portal Survey123 result is "username@domain". How do I remove the "@domain" text in my username? With scripting it would be findstring @ as part of left trim.

How do I do this in the calculation column?

I figured it out using SUBSTR and string length - assumption is @domain is consistent length.

substr(${userID},0,string-length(${userID})-11)
