Can i pre populate a degree symbol (for temperature) into a text type that cant be removed by the end user on a device?

Hi Tom,

No this is not currently possible using only a default value, as the entire default value in the field can be edited by the user.

However, have you tried using a regular expression in a constraint field to ensure the value entered matches the format you are wanting, including the degrees symbol and the C. Have a look at: Formulas—Survey123 for ArcGIS | Documentation
