Pre-populate values from Explorer

Question

Has ability to pre-populate answers in a Survey been extended to work for answers in a repeat/related table?  Last I heard (2018) this is cannot be done.

I just added a calculation to the column in the repeat to reference the value of an answer on the main feature service.
