Phone Number Input mask does not retain space in Table

Question

I have a survey created in survey123 connect.  It is using the latest version template (3.25)

The survey uses a Feature Class and related table stored in SDE and shared as a Feature Service.

There is a phone number field, 14 characters with an Input Mask of (999) 999-9999.

Everything looks correct in the survey, but once submitted the record is added to the table in the format (999)999-9999 which is missing the space between the area code and phone number.

This seems to be recent as older records are formatted correctly in the table.  Is this possibly a bug related to the most recent AGOL update?

You can try adding ?version=3.24 to the url to use the previous version. Or try this input mask as a workaround:

(999) 999-9999;_.

Doing some testing it does insert the space when you use the survey123 app, but not the web form (browser).  Unfortunately, this survey is only used in the web version by customers.  Admittedly this is a nit-picky concern.
