Move existing repeat into another repeat?

Question

Hello! I have a published survey that has a number of repeats (A - D). I'd like to nest repeat B within repeat A, and have done so in Connect and republished without any errors.

However, when a survey is later submitted, there is an error:

Am I correct in assuming this is because repeat B doesn't exist within repeat A in my feature service? If so, is there a way to move it?

Our Support team will assign an official bug number for your records. This number can be used to search for and subscribe to the bug on the Esri Support site. If the issue is reported by other customers it will be attached to the same bug report, which helps us assess the impact of the issue and prioritize it accordingly.
