How to embed a survey within a survey

Hello,

I have an extremely large survey that I would like to break up into smaller surveys.  How do you 'embed' a survey, within a survey?  I saw it demonstrated at a conference and cannot find the screenshots that I took of the presentation.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

You can do that all within a single survey, which may be the best option. Have a select_one or select_multiple be the trigger. Then use that field to modify the single survey to look the appropriate way (using the [relevant] column). Here is a quick example (hopefully its legible):

This is the big component. My question to you is now "how sensitive is the information?" followed up with a "do your users have accounts?"

The best option may be to use the Inbox feature... as long as you either have accounts or you don't care about survey responses being shared.

If you don't have accounts and don't want to share survey responses, then you will need to jump through a few more hoops.

I would like to make the survey more "user friendly".  There are 86 fields that need to be populated.  What I would like to do is have the user select which survey they need to fill in and have it go to that particular part of the survey, then be able to go back and select the next one.  Not all would need to be answered each time the survey is opened.  Right now, I am trying to split each part of the survey using 'begin group' and 'end group'.  That is proving to be extremely cumbersome and was looking for an easier way to do this.

The end user will most likely either be using a tablet, or a smart phone to collect the data.  I would need them to all populate the same feature service.  There are 7 categories, with one being used in a calculation to provide a particular symbology based on the result.
