Survey123 Access Denied after June Update?

Hi All,

I've had this account for 2 years and it was originally for testing and creating surveys the main thing was that I was able to share and use the account. It had limited ability but it did everything I needed it to do with data collection. I got the free creator account from ArcGIS Developer and it was working fine for 2 years, until today (June 27th, 2024).

Does anyone know what might have happened or a workaround? I can still get into the ArcGIS website and access my account, but I can no longer access the data with Power Automate or use the surveys I built in Survey123 connect. I can still go into survey123 Connect but I can't go into Survey123.

I didn't get a warning that access would be denied after an update so I don't want to think it was because of the update but I'm very concerned because over the past two years I have a good amount of items on there that are connected to other apps that will no longer be able to work.

Hi All,

It looks like owners of the ArcGIS Developer subscriptions have now been converted to "ArcGIS Location Platform" accounts. Read more about it here: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/developers/announcements/whats-new-in-esri-developers-june-2024/

From what I can tell, the users that leveraged the free tier of ArcGIS Developer no longer have access to a full ArcGIS Online subscription. You would need to purchase a Creator Named User to have access to the full suite again. Your content is still there but software licensing has been stripped back for the free tier.

I have lost access to Survey123 and StoryMaps etc with the same error. Can someone investigate this please?

ESRI had announced a pending change to user types awhile back (link here) and I feel like with this AGOL update, it's finally rearing its head and biting people..

Hi @KyleHash , ESRI has already announced and has already changed the categories of licenses. You could see the link below of how the licenses have now been configured. In addition, you could check in ArcGIS Online in the settings to see which category you are in, in this time.
