Adding the current date to experience builder site

I would like to add text or a widget to my experience builder page that displays the current date. This won't be connected to data in the map so I adding dynamic text won't work. I previously found some code online that I could use in the embed widget, but I can no longer find it. Also, apparently experience builder doesn't support <string> html anymore? Anyone have any tips or ideas on how to achieve this?

Was this the link you were referring to. I was also hoping for a solution that did not require an externally hosted html page.

I ended up creating a custom clock using timeanddate.com and using the Exb Bldr embed tool to put it in the header. Although this works well, it is also not ideal as it is external source and not out-of-the-box.
