Can we please get an option to assign a keyboard shortcut to save EDITS, not the map document itself? Please?

It is possible to assign a keyboard shortcut to save edits by using accelerators.

Below I assigned Alt+S to the Save Edits command. That now works as my shortcut.

@anna_garrett Along with assigning an accelerator like @KoryKramer mentioned, you can enable the option to "Save edits when saving the project" in Project > Options > Editing.

If you do, every time you save a project (using CTRL+S or by clicking the save project button) you (optionally) get prompted to save edits. I say optionally because that's another option: "Show dialog to confirm save edits".
