Modify existing survey to theme-grid

I am trying to update an existing survey to utilize groups and the theme-grid, but the XLS form won't allow it. The survey was originally created in Survey123 (web). Is there a way to update this, or do I need to recreate the survey in Survey123 Connect?

Thanks for sharing here! The survey created from the website can be downloaded and edited in the Connect. Open Connect and search for the survey and download it, then open the XLSForm to edit the survey.

If you cannot modify the downloaded XLSForm, could you please double check if you enabled editing? Or, could you please provide us more details or screenshots on XLSForm does not allow editing?
