Return the number of matches in select one from file question

I have a select one from file question that provides a various number of choices based on the choice filter. When using the question, it shows the number of “matches” at the bottom of the drop-down list. Is there a way to capture that number of matches as a property or some other way to return the number of matches in a csv file?

Hi @KevinG,

No, there is currently no way to capture (store) the matches value returned, it is simply for display purposes to advise the user how many matches there are in the dropdown list, especially if it is very long.

If this is something you see value in, or have a use case, I would suggest raising this as an Idea on the Esri Community Survey123 Ideas section, or you can raise an enhancement with Esri Support. This helps provides a better understanding of user requirements and demand from other users wanting the same enhancement.
