Collector running in background while using Survey123 embed?

Hi,

I've embedded survey123 as a pop up in my map that's used in collector. In collector, I'm editing trail data, and then using Survey123 for taking points of interest along that trail. I am wondering if collector will continue to collect my trail while I have Survey123 open?
