Issues with Survey123 Connect and Related Tables in ArcGIS Enterprise

Hello everyone,

I've been exploring how to use Survey123 to populate related tables in ArcGIS Enterprise and came across this article: How to Populate a Related Table from an ArcGIS Survey123 Feature Service. The process involves setting up feature services with related tables and using Survey123 Connect to configure the survey for data collection.

However, I encountered an error when trying to publish my survey: "The custom feature service submission_url is not compatible with this survey." I'm curious about how this setup might differ when working within ArcGIS Enterprise compared to ArcGIS Online, and what specific adjustments or considerations are needed to make it work seamlessly.

Has anyone faced similar issues or successfully implemented this in an ArcGIS Enterprise environment? Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I'll add that the layer name of related tables has pretty strict length requirements compared to online, you may need to rename the layers and then republish the service to satisfy Survey123.

Did you ensure your main name and related table name in you feature service match the name in your survey form?

The  on your settings page, the form_id should match the name of your main layer in your feature service,

and then make sure the related table names match the repeat names in the form xlsx.

I found the only reliable way was to have 123 make the GDBs then download and patch them together in Pro, republish, and repoint.  Even if you can't do this have it make them then you can compare to your own service to get it to match.

Also note the name on the begin repeat line and the table names need to match.
