Natural Language Queries for Maps & Layers

Problem: Users often struggle to remember field names, Arcade syntax, or SQL when filtering or querying data. This creates a barrier for casual users who just want quick insights. Enhancement: Add a “Natural Language Query” box in Map Viewer and ArcGIS Pro that lets users type requests like: “Show me parcels larger than 1 acre within 500m of schools” “Highlight water mains installed before 1990” ArcGIS would convert the request into the proper Arcade expression, SQL, or definition query automatically. Use Case: Field workers, planners, and non-technical staff could get answers without learning query languages, making spatial analysis more accessible.
