No Access to Layers in Project Map

Question

Hello, I want to use my map as a basemap, but I get the error stating: "You don't have access to layers in the
project map. Check the items have been shared with you and project users."

The QuickCapture file, layers, and maps are all in AGOL. I own the map and layers, so I assume that they are  "shared" with me by default? What does "project users" mean? I shared the map and the layers to a group with all the designated users. I also own the group. I appreciate any help on this. Thank you!

Michael- Did you ever get any help with this? I am having a similar problem, except mine says that "The following items in the map are not shared with project user".  I have checked my 'sharing' more than once too.

by michaelm_62‎03-09-2025 09:25 PM (this was the date of your post about Quick Capture) Hi Mandy, I'm getting the same msg. I have triple check the permissions but cannot get rid of the warning.
QC seems to be working correctly, so far.

@Mandy_Li  Any update on this?  I'm still getting the error message, and I own all the layers.

I am also getting this error with a new project and it makes no sense.  The layers and the map are all owned by me and already shared with a group.  And Survey123 is also pointing at these layers and map and does not complain.
