Hi everyone,
We have a non versioning SQL enterprise geodatabase. Suddenly, we cannot do any editing in any feature class of our geodatabase. We get the message "the object cannot be edited using the current session mode".
What could be wrong?
Same nonsense here. Still looking for an answer.
Found another thread which might posit a possible solution: Solved: Re: Update table row failed. the object cannot be ... - Esri Community
Not that it worked for me. I just pulled the Enterprise Database Feature into a Project Database, and deleted the Enterprise Feature. Made my edits in the Project Database, and am rethinking my next steps. Maybe I'll just leave it in the Project Database. It'll be a future-me problem.
Just had it happen to me. Any solution, or do we have to scrap our deployment?

Hi,
Having the same issue was a solution found?
Yes, I found it too. I checked it. This is not our case.
Thanks.
Found Update table row failed. the object cannot be edited using the current edit session mode
No, I am working in ArcGIS Pro. As you can see versioning is not selected
Is this in ArcMap you are trying to do the editing from? since your GDB is not versioned, I'm wondering if you have the "Edit Versioned Database" option checked in your editing options by accident?
