Export Z value to Excel as well as X and Y when the geopoint is esriFieldTypePointZ

Hi there,

When you export a featureclass to excel from ArcGIS Online, if it has a geopoint question the X and Y values are automatically appended to the end of the table. However it does not add Z if the question is set to be esriFieldTypePointZ. Just checking if this is intentional or something that could be added?

Are you exporting via the Survey123 Website on the Data tab and export option, or directly in ArcGIS Online in the Content and Data tab and export options?

If it is AGO, then this question is better asked in the AGO community? Have you tried the Survey123 export option, is the result any different?

Hi Philip,

Good point, this is probably an underlying ArcGIS Online capability rather than one that is S123 specific. To answer your question it operates the same in both cases, so I guess it uses the same export to Excel capability.

Hi @Marc_Graham,

You are correct, the Survey123 website export function uses the underlying AGO export function, therefore this would need to be fixed in AGO first, for Survey123 website to also work correctly.
