Mission Area/Boundary
The Mission Area sets automatically to the maximun boundary of the area in flight (white). The boundary should be possible to be set at an maximum outside perimiter of actual photos (red line).

Symbology widths of lines and polygons in Site Scan
It would be nice to be able to edit the line with of the lines and polylines down to 0.01 ft so the lines don't hide the things that are being identified or highlighted by the shapes.

Request for Additional Features Regarding the Site Scan Flight Application
In the current flight application, flight plans are created by defining the flight area based on the latest orthoimages generated via Quick Map. However, in rare cases where Quick Map fails or the positional accuracy of its orthoimages is poor, we currently resort to defining the flight area using the drone's current…

Stop forcing coordinate systems
Sitescan is currently forcing users into using "correct" coordinate systems. This becomes an issue when we need the flights to be processed with an adjacent coordinate system, by request from the project/client. For example, in Norway the official UTM sones are 32 - 35 although the country spans the UTM sones 31 - 36. This…

Auto-adding Team Members
There are 2 of us who are Administrators for our organization’s Site Scan license. We’d like a way for both of us to be auto-added as Team Members to each other’s projects whenever either of us sets up a new one. It would also be helpful if there was an option to batch-add a person and their permission level to…

Panoramic Photo Limit Increase
Can the Panoramic photo limit be increased? Some drones are allowing for more higher resolution Panos (using 3x Telephoto lens) and go over the 100 photos limit.

Drawing Volume Measurements in 3D Mesh
I'm still a bit new to using SiteScan to extract volume from drone flights and I was wondering if there was any way to take volume measurements in the 3D mesh tab of a processed flight? I have a flight of a rock pit we want to further develop, and I want to find the volume of rock that will come out of different areas. I…

Can Site Scan “Share to ArcGIS” Publish Directly to Image Server?
Is it possible to configure the “Share to ArcGIS” option in Site Scan to publish directly to an ArcGIS Image Server (as a referenced image service) instead of creating hosted layers? I’m looking to understand whether: - Site Scan can target Image Server specifically during the share/publish process - There’s any API or…

Notes and Upload user
Would love to see a text entry to put note for projects and missions and also and an option to see who created the projects and each mission.

Georeferencing of 3D Mesh SLPK
3D meshes may appear shifted due to coordinate system differences, incorrect datum transformations, or inaccurate ground control points; adding the ability to manually georeference and align mesh SLPKs would allow users to correct these issues.

Site Scan Q2 2026: Faster Reality Mapping at Scale
Overview In Q2 2026, Site Scan for ArcGIS is focused on one goal: helping teams move from capture to insight faster, especially when projects get very big or need extreme detail. These upcoming releases deliver two highly requested capabilities: * Large Mission Processing: Confidently process today’s massive drone captures…

Support OGC 3D Tiles output to Site Scan for ArcGIS
Unlike what's available in Drone2Map and Reality for Pro, Site Scan does not have the ability to generate data products in OGC 3D Tiles format. It is crucial to provide this format to support open data integration as part of the Reality software suite.

Add Members to a Project via API
Currently the API allows us to create projects and missions. However the membership of those projects is limited to the GUI. It'd be nice to include the Add Project Members to the API to fully automate the process.

Navigation Issues within Site Scan
The navigation options in Site Scan are troublesome when moving between the model options. The left/right/scroll wheels buttons on the mouse do different things on the 2D Ortho, Point Cloud and Mesh pages. The controls should be consistent. Is there a setting to change how the mouse controls the views on each screen? The…

Panorama images downloaded from Site Scan are missing Metadata
When a panorama mission is processed in Site Scan for ArcGIS, the resulting 360° image (JPG) that is downloaded appears to be missing metadata, compared to panoramas generated directly from the drone (e.g. DJI Matrice 4E). This issue may be related to the current behavior where the panorama opens in a new browser tab…

Edit "mission type"
Sometimes I would like to change the mission type after the photos are uploaded. Today I need to upload the same photos if I would like to process the same mission but with an other type. I would like the mission type to be editable after the photos are uploaded.

Coordinatesystem for downloadable SLPK mesh
Hi. A client has defined XY and Z coordinate systems in a Sitescan project and used GCP's and everything "after the book". Downloading the LAS result the coordinatesystems defined are kept, but downloading the SLPK mesh and coordinatesystem is changed to the WGS84/EGM96 combo (XY/Z respectively). I guess this is as…

Radiometric Thermal Ortho Processing for DJI Matrice 4T in Site Scan Manager
We’d like to request the ability to process thermal imagery from the DJI Matrice 4T in Site Scan Manager, in order to create radiometric thermal orthos. I am a GIS Technician with the Douglas County, Nebraska GIS dept. and one of two drone pilots we have. My coworker @SteveCacioppo and I started our drone program over five…

WHat is Esri's plan for the potentially forthcoming DJI ban regarding Site Scan and Drone compatibility?
We currently use a Mavic 3e and Site Scan and while it functions flawlessly for our needs, there are folks in the company nervous about the DJI set to likely go into effect Dec 23 2025. With that in mind, does ESRI plan to expand compatibility to other brands than just Freefly? Ive seen chatter about Skydio and Wingtra…

Point cloud AutoCAD Recap export format
It is becoming popular with our designers and drafter to ask for the point cloud. However, they need it in the AutoCAD Recap (.rcp) format. DroneDeploy has Recap file type as an export option. There are no tools within ArcGIS Pro that will convert a LAS file to ReCap either. The convert LAS file is only to zip or unzip…

How do you delete a corridor flight plan?
Can't do it in the browser, deleting on the tablet doesn't do anything to it in the website
