Elevation layers published to AGOL use meters instead of feet.
I've been publishing elevation data to AGOL without issues up until a couple days ago. Now all my elevation layers are being transformed from feet to meters, but still use the feet values. So what should be 4500 feet is coming in as 14600. I've replicated this from Site Scan, drone2map, and ArcGIS Pro. Seems to be a bug…

Hi from Rana
Hello everyone! I’m interested in hearing from other YPN members about how we can make the GIS community more engaging and valuable for young professionals. GIS is evolving rapidly, with technologies such as AI, remote sensing, web GIS, and spatial data science creating new opportunities. At the same time, many students…

Symbology widths of lines and polygons in Site Scan
It would be nice to be able to edit the line with of the lines and polylines down to 0.01 ft so the lines don't hide the things that are being identified or highlighted by the shapes.

Polygon List for Water Bodys
Imported water body geometries generally need to be adjusted manually in terms of elevation. Currently, I select the polygons and adjust their elevation using the Move tool. However, there is no way to check whether all polygons have been processed. It would be useful to have a list similar to the one used for GCPs,…

Average Adjusted Elevations for Water Bodies
Water bodies—except for flowing water—generally form a horizontal plane. The “Get Heights” function in the Edit menu can transfer elevation values from a terrain model to water polygons. It would be helpful to provide an additional option that calculates the mean elevation of a water body and applies it to the entire water…

Defining the Number of Nodes to Be Used per Process
Certain processing steps generate a very high network load, particularly Image Preparation. We use a total of 24 nodes, which leads to network congestion during image processing. If I were to shut down some of the nodes, I would lose processing capacity that could otherwise be used simultaneously by other projects within…

Request for Additional Features Regarding the Site Scan Flight Application
In the current flight application, flight plans are created by defining the flight area based on the latest orthoimages generated via Quick Map. However, in rare cases where Quick Map fails or the positional accuracy of its orthoimages is poor, we currently resort to defining the flight area using the drone's current…

Coordinatesystem for downloadable SLPK mesh
Hi. A client has defined XY and Z coordinate systems in a Sitescan project and used GCP's and everything "after the book". Downloading the LAS result the coordinatesystems defined are kept, but downloading the SLPK mesh and coordinatesystem is changed to the WGS84/EGM96 combo (XY/Z respectively). I guess this is as…

Add the ability to reprocess DSM products in ArcGIS Reality Pro in selected regions/extents
Sometimes, data products are processed incorrectly. But instead of having to reprocess the entire satellite scene, it would be better to support reconstruction at certain extent/regions based on the map's current extent or a polygon mask. The reprocessing can be done using one of the available Matching Methods.

Please consider adding the ability to create traditional ortho products in ArcGIS Reality Pro
Would it be possible to add the ability to create traditional ortho products into ArcGIS Reality Pro? Reality Mapping is the future of photogrammetry and the focus going onwards. However, I have requirements to create traditional ortho sometimes. Adding the ability to create traditional ortho with ArcGIS Reality Pro would…

Add more Matching Method parameters when generating DSM Products in Reality Mapping wizard to be equivalent to Ortho Mapping's
Currently, generating DSM wizard using Ortho Mapping in ArcGIS Pro Advanced support several Matching Methods params such as Semiglobal Matching and Extended Terrain Matching. However, the same parameter is not available in the "newer" Reality Mapping wizard in ArcGIS Pro. Please consider adding this functionality in…

Export True Ortho as 16bit imagery
How can I create 16bit True Ortho tiles. Origin Images are already 16bit but there is no setting in the reconstruction for this type of export.

Stop forcing coordinate systems
Sitescan is currently forcing users into using "correct" coordinate systems. This becomes an issue when we need the flights to be processed with an adjacent coordinate system, by request from the project/client. For example, in Norway the official UTM sones are 32 - 35 although the country spans the UTM sones 31 - 36. This…

User is getting an error trying to add a folder of images to a new capture session
Hi there, We have a user that is trying to process a series of drone captured images. All images were captured by the same drone platform. He is getting an error when trying to add some of the folders of imagery to the project: The user is able to: * create a new capture session * read the images * get the image metadata…

Auto-adding Team Members
There are 2 of us who are Administrators for our organization’s Site Scan license. We’d like a way for both of us to be auto-added as Team Members to each other’s projects whenever either of us sets up a new one. It would also be helpful if there was an option to batch-add a person and their permission level to…

Control Points and Coordinate Systems
Hello, I am hoping to get some guidance regarding the general coordinate system setup in Drone2Map. I am setting up a 3D project that includes GCPs collected through our trimble GPS. For the project coordinate system I am planning to use NAD 1983 State Plane Illinois East (US Feet) (3435) and the vertical NAVD88 height (US…

Drawing Volume Measurements in 3D Mesh
I'm still a bit new to using SiteScan to extract volume from drone flights and I was wondering if there was any way to take volume measurements in the 3D mesh tab of a processed flight? I have a flight of a rock pit we want to further develop, and I want to find the volume of rock that will come out of different areas. I…

Change Image Sorting in the GCP Manager
It would be useful to be able to sort images by marked/not marked in the GCP Manager. When using the 'Semi-auto' function for control marking, I like to check the results of automatically marked images. It would be helpful to have all the marked images at the top to save me scrolling through the image list to checkÂ

What should I do if I encounter a CUDA Driver Timeout?
CUDA is a parallel computing platform supported by NVIDIA graphics cards. ArcGIS Reality Studio uses CUDA acceleration to improve the performance of computationally intensive processing tasks. A CUDA Driver Timeout can occur when a GPU operation exceeds the default Windows timeout period. To prevent the operating system…
