Tool has failed to open

Has anyone faced a similar problem before? Cannot create GPFunction object....Many tools cannot be opened. An attempt was made to refernece a token that does not exist. Many thanks.

The issue for me was resolved by clearing the Cache data. Go to project, Options, Display and clear cache.
