Dear community:

I met a question when running the "Classify LAS Ground " tool in ArcGIS Pro. The progress bar will slowly proceed to around 40% - 55% and suddenly jump to 100% and start to compute the statistics. However, no ground point is filtered out as the classification codes only contains '1 Unassigned' in the properties>LAS filter. However the 'noise filter' works fine. It seems that only the ground filter is broken?

The workflow is like:

1. Define the coordinate system of the map in a project.

2. Drag the las file to the map

3. Run the 'Define Projection' to the las file

4. Run 'Classify LAS Ground' to the las

5. The progress bar runs normally until 40%-55% and flash to 100%. Then the tool start to compute the statistics of the las file.

6. No ground point is labeled as the classification code remains the same with original.

The ArcGIS Pro (AGP) Version I habe tried: 3.0.6 / 3.1.3 / 3.2

I also try to uninstall and reinstall AGP again but no luck.

I have read the posts below but none of them works:

Pro not classifying ground in las file - Esri Community

Classify LAS Ground - ArcGIS Pro - Esri Community

I hope any one can give me some hint to solve it.

Thanks in advance.
