A new way to communicate within ArcGIS Hub- Discussions!
Hub premium customers are now equipped with a new feature called Discussions that facilitates threaded conversation within the context of Hub!
Discussions in Hub are content based- this means group members can now share content and discuss them. No matter the type of content - maps, apps, documents, images etc., group members can have secure, private and focused conversation associated with that item inside of Hub.
Additionally, discussions in Hub are geographically aware. This means, participants in a discussion involving a map can use the inbuilt draw and select tools to draw on a map or select (one or multiple) existing features to add geographical context to their posts and replies.
Be it finding the location for a new neighborhood park or collecting feedback on proposals for a new development in your community, you can now use discussions in Hub to engage on topics that matter most to you. While discussions will certainly heighten the ease of establishing patterns of engagement, it is only the beginning!
