Suddenly Geoportal lost all links on top, including the signin link. This only happens in Chrome.
On Edge, it's completely normal
I have cleared all caches, histories and cookies. Then restart the browser. But still does not work: all links on top still missing.
Need help. Thanks

Hi @George_Thompson ,
I found an article somewhere that after applying the patch, the problem still persist. So, I am not taking the risk.
I just found the work arounds:
1. Using downgraded Opera and turn off the auto updater. OR
2. Using downgraded Chrome (v 104) : turn off autoupdater and modify the registry:
- rename the autoupdater file to anything you want (I just add sufix "OFF") on the installation directory. This will make the autoupdater fail to run, which is what we want
- find a key on the registry somewhere in "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Google\Update" set the Default to 0
Hope it helps.
Not sure what version of Enterprise (portal) you are using, but it looks like it may be related to the issue in Chromium that we released a patch for: https://support.esri.com/en-us/patches-updates/2024/portal-for-arcgis-application-display-patch
I would review and apply this patch, if applicable, and re-test.
What are the versions of ArcGIS Enterprise / Chrome / Edge being used for the post?
thanks George..
I am using ArcGIS Enterprise 11.0
But strangely enough, my colleague has experienced this matter for the past 1 month, ways more earlier than mine. But mine only for the last 3 days. Why different ? Our chrome versions are the same..
Chrome: Version 128.0.6613.138 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Edge: Version 128.0.2739.67 (Official Build) (64-bit, Edge Business)
Thanks
Hi @George_Thompson
Now it happens to my Edge as well (Version 130.0.2849.46 (Official build) (64-bit)). All the links on top are missing.
But it still works on Firefox v 131.0.3
I would recommend working with technical support on this issue. It is always possible that Chromium has release an update that could cause issues.

This issue now appears in Edge 130. After applying the Portal for ArcGIS Application Display patch and clearing the cache, the whole page goes blank. I am removing the patch since it didn't resolve the issue.
Use Firefox v 131.0.3. it still works on me...
It’s an organizational restriction and we cannot use any other browser except for Edge.
I try Edge with IE Mode. It works actually. The signin page and all navigational menu appear.
I also tried downgrading Chrome. It actually works BUT I can't stop Chrome from upgrading automatically.
