This does not work, we have tested this workaround extensively and the problem continues to intermittently and randomly occur.

We have some new information that a suddenly-revoked certificate from a popular cert provider may have had something to do with this. Since the issue is hard to reproduce (intermittent and random) I don't have any other info and due to the nature of it being a security cert, I've only shared the specifics with our ESRI TAM, but if you're one of the org's affected by the suddenly-revoked certificate from a popular cert provider, it's pretty obvious, and something to look into as a cause of this.

In what is now a rare moment when I find myself using ArcGIS Pro it because I'm doing something....really complicated. In this case I have a workflow where I need 2-3 GP Tools open at once so I can perform a repeatable workflow. Yes, I could probably make a model or a python but I don't want @KoryKramer to think I've retired! Existing behavior: I have 3 tools open, and I bang through them 1-2-3, and I just cycle each tool and change one thing in each of them. Problem is, I can't remember which "Calculate Field" tool I just changed something in and which is the next one I need to change. Sure, they're in order, but what if I had 5 open and I can't count? What if I'm not always going in the same 1-2-3 order? I have to open each tool to figure out what it's doing..... Sure would be handy if I could see this: By TEMPORARILY renaming the tool at runtime. Coincidentally I could see this being handy when folks are trying to document workflows with GP history: instead of 10 instances of "Calculate Field", the user could control the display name of each tool execution

We are getting the same error when users search in Portal or AGOL. I have attached a video to @KatieHansen_NIFCAdmin 's case demonstrating, which suggests the bug doesn't address all the use cases where this occurs. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1720613/error-code-status-access-violation-when-searching does not resolve the problem, and using Firefox is not a reasonable work-around due to restrictions on its use. The issue is intermittent and appears to be memory related.

Was there a resolution to the basemaps or instant apps issue? We're in the same boat. Basemaps are a pretty important piece of functionality for our customers.....

From Specify server log settings "The default directory where the server writes its logs is c:\arcgisserver\logs. The log path must be set to a local directory..." but I have a need to have the log files on a network share (many multi-machine sites). Anyone got some voo-doo magic they can share that can mirror the GIS Server logs?

Who has successfully gotten a Portal Content Directory working on Azure Premium Storage? For clarity, we're using Azure Premium Files, NOT Blob Storage. Format is \\name.file.core.windows.net\performancetest\CONTENT We're also using a gMSA as the Portal Service Account. 11.2. We have a support case going into its second month with no solution in sight. Coincidentally, all of our GIS Server Config Store and Directories work perfectly fine on \\name.file.core.windows.net\performancetest\CONTENT, same gMSA running them as well. Which eliminates "You configured it wrong (Azure)". We've brought in our on-prem Azure Heavy Hitters, and we've logged and tested the storage account like no other storage account has ever been tested, and can find nothing. But when we configure Portal to use \\name.file.core.windows.net\performancetest\CONTENT as the content directory, it renders portal unusable for which a full VM restore is the only means of recovery. Solved: Re: Portal Service can't be started when Upgrade f... - Esri Community Re: Upgrade high available portal from 10.9 to 11.... - Esri Community While helpful and gave us some things to test, do not solve the problem. And yes, the gMSA has full control to the directory and can read/write as confirmed by dozens of hours of testing.

"For your context, the ArcGIS Enterprise is hosted on Azure, and the portal content directory is Azure Storage. We have another DEV environment with same deployment pattern, but no such an issue with the Upgrade" @anbinh Would you care to share how you've gotten your Azure storage account to work as the Portal Content Directory? We have a case open with ESRI going into its second month, and no one can figure out why we can't get it to work.

Looking through the answers, did no one have an answer to "Where would've ArcPro saved any files that were downloaded"? I have the same question: where is that update downloaded to? I don't have questions about how to increase disk space, which seemed to a be a popular answer. Just where is the file path.

I've set all logging to debugging and been pouring over them with a fine-toothed comb and nothing useful turns up. I have a case open on in this in the usual "can't reproduce" status, perhaps if you open a case as well ESRI might acknowledge that Collaboration has some issues ..

I have a portal-agol collaboration where manual sync works, but schedule sync remains in a blocked state with no apparant way to unblock it. Pausing and resuming does not work, changing the schedule does not work, in fact, changing every single setting only results in BLOCKED. Blowing away the workspace or the partnership is not an option.

Interesting, because I have a 10.9.1 deployment where manual syncing works, but scheduled syncing doesn't, but edits on both ends show up on the other end. Wouldn't be the first time TS wrote a bug where none existed and 5 years later development comes back with "can't reproduce"....
