@Yarrr, Is this for imagery/raster or vector data? For our imagery and raster data, we created source mosaic datasets in their original coordinate system then used the source mosaic datasets to build a reference mosaic dataset in WGS84. This allows multiple transformations to be applied and is reprojected on the fly in publishing out data to AGOL and building tile sets. Source, derived, and referenced mosaic datasets I apologize, I do not remember the exact workflow we used for the vector data. We did get it to work dynamically. We since moved to NAD83(2011) which AGOL can transform in a single transformation without issue. I believe we applied a transformation on the map the feature data was published from to an intermediary coordinate system that AGOL could transform directly to WGS84. For example, published the feature/map service from NAD83(86) to NAD83(HARN) then AGOL was able to correctly transform that to WGS84. This workflow allowed us to keep or data in our coordinate system while dynamically publishing to AGOL with correct transformations. Taking control of transformations with hosted feature layers If you are generating your tile cache in Pro and exporting. It does not appear you can apply transformations as part of these geoprocessing tools. However: 1) You can try modifying the transformation applied to the map you are generating the tiles from including a few combination transformations. The default for WGS84 to NAD 83 is (WGS_1984_(ITRF00)_To_NAD_1983). Try a few others such as: (WGS_1984_(ITRF00)_To_NAD_1983_HARN + NAD_1983_HARN_To_HARN Florida) (NAD_1983_HARN_To_ WGS_1984 + NAD_1983_To_HARN Florida) 2) Use the Project (Data Management) tool, which allows the application of multiple/combination transformations to be applied, and create a temporary feature in WGS84 to generate your tiles from. This may be the best option for you since you are generating and exporting your tile sets in Pro. The selection of the applicable transformations really depends on the coordinate system of your original data and how to get it to WGS84. AGOL automatically applies a single transformation to the source data and it does its best to select the correct transformation. Currently, AGOL cannot apply multiple transformations, combination transformations (noted above) and will not apply any transformation if it cannot determine the correct one to apply. I hope this helps and have a great evening.

@Yarrr, What is the coordinate system of your original data? Are you projecting your data to WGS84 before publishing? If so, are you using the correct transformation(s). AGOL basically only works with the WGS84 coordinate system and will do its best to project source data to that coordinate system. However, with a limited number of transformations available. For example, we store all or data in Ohio North State Plane, US FT, NAD83/86. If I use this data in AGOL we will see a 1.5-2.0 shift in the data because it applies the NAD83 to WGS84 transformation by default. However, if we project our data to WGS84 using the NAD83(86) to NAD83 Ohio HARN transformation first then the NAD83 to WGS84 transformation it is spot on. Unfortunately AGOL does not currently have the ability to apply multiple transformations.

We upgraded to ArcGIS Pro 3.3 to fix several issues that were resolved in the newer version and found another. We have multiple scripts that download data from ArcGIS Server and Portal sites for processing using FeatureLayer(url).query. These scripts and services have been in place for some time and working; however, we are receiving error messages on these scripts when run form ArcGIS Pro 3.3. ERROR 001558: Error parsing json file '<filename>.json'. A row with this OID already exists. We have confirmed the source file does not contain duplicate OIDs and the script does work from ArcGIS Pro 3.2. Any suggestions or notable changes between 3.2 and 3.3 that would cause this issue? from arcgis.features import FeatureLayer
url = "https://<FQDN>/server/rest/services/Hosted/<feature>/FeatureServer/0"
FeatureLayer(url).query(return_true_curves=False).save("memory", "temp")

What version of ArcGIS are you trying to install (assuming ArcGIS Pro 3.2 or older)? What operating system and version is the system (assuming Windows 10 or 11)? Can you provide more details on the error message you are receiving? You need to download the matching windowsdesktop-runtime-6.0.xx-win-x64.exe from Microsoft at https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/6.0. For windows 64-bit ArcGIS Pro 3.2.x or older it it is the following: Once you download it make sure to "Unblock" the file in the file properties if needed. When you run the .NET installer, right-click and select "Run As Administrator". As noted by others, ArcGIS Pro 3.3 or newer requires .NET Desktop Runtime 8.x.x.

Out of curiosity, if you are experiencing the same issue, what enterprise database platform are we using? I am experiencing this on MS SQL.

I am attempting to run Delete Identical on a feature hosted on an enterprise geodatabase and keep receiving the Error 000224: Cannot insert features. This occurs when running from a standalone Python script and running the tool directly in ArcGIS Pro. I have tried both a user with appropriate permissions and the geodata owner. If I export the data to a local GDB everything runs great. Error 000224 is typically related to mismatched field definitions between incoming features and the output feature class. But this tool modifies the existing feature class, so they should be the same. This is similar to the issue reported by @MulfordnSons in arcpy.DeleteIdentical_management does not delete identicals in ESRI sqlite database. However, this was to have been resolved in ArGIS Pro 3.0. Currently running ArcGIS Pro 3.2.1, the database is hosted on an MS SQL Server as an 11.2 version enterprise database. Any ideas? I did submit a support ticket, but it will be Monday or Tuesday before they get back to me.

@MichelleMathias When moving an individual message or comment in a topic, is there an option to retitle the moved portion? I recently had a user post an unrelated comment/question in an answered thread and wanted to move the individual message or comment, but it did not appear to have the option to rename the new thread. Perhaps this is provided after selecting Move Post, but I did not want to take the chance it would only keep the original thread title.

@RamonWilliams, I recommend creating a new post in the appropriate category rather than replying to an existing answered thread that is not related. I was going to move your reply, but it was unclear what category you wanted based on the context of your post and that you posted in ArcGIS Field Maps Questions.

All, After working with ESRI support the past week, we were able to confirm this is a bug in ArcGIS Pro with not only SQL but other Enterprise Databases as well - BUG-000164308. The issue was present before version 3.2 and caused "flashing" of the ArcGIS Pro Desktop when using the shape.stlength() field in the labeling - SQL Where clause. In version 3.2 Drawing Alert messages were added allowing us to be able to narrow in on the source of the problem. Thanks, @JoshuaBixby for your time and for digging in to confirm the issue.

@JoshuaBixby, Thanks for the reply and for confirming you are experiencing the same on a clean install. I have a ticket in with ESRI, but with the holiday weekend, it will be mid-week for a reply. In the interim, we have modified the layers where we are using labeling based on the shape.STLength() field. I am not sure if it became an issue with Pro 3.2, upgrading to 11.2 on our enterprise deployment or the database update from 10.8 to 11.2. Did not see anything on initial testing and for some reason the issue does not occur on our published feature and map services to the same database just a direct SDE connection. Happy New Year!

About three weeks ago, we updated to ArcGIS Enterprise 11.2. Last weekend, we updated our enterprise database from 10.8 to 11.2. In ArcGIS Pro 3.2, we are noting issues with all feature classes that utilize a SQL Where clause for labeling based upon the field Shape.STLength(). When labeling is on, hundreds of drawing alerts are produced for any of these features. The message states that an "Error parsing the WHERE clause. One or more fields could not be found." This has worked without issue since moving to ArcGIS Pro some time ago. I created a straightforward linear feature on our enterprise database and drew a handful of lines. Once I set a SQL Where clause to use the Shape.STLength() field drawing alerts began to appear. We typically use this field to label features differently based upon the length. Any ideas? The data is accessed directly to the database using an SDE connection string and the systems are using Microsoft ODBC Driver v18.3.1.1.
