Hello,

I understand that SiteScan uses it's own flight log format and that improvements are on the way; however, there is a need for SiteScan Manager to support the import of DJI Flight Records. Regardless of what software is being used, DJI drones almost always record a flight record in a text file. Allowing users to import these into SiteScan Manager would provide a quick and easy way to import historical flight information, regardless of what software was used to fly the mission.

Thank you!

Hi @ChristopherRatcliff

We'd love to offer this but, unfortunately, DJI has chosen to encrypt their flight logs and requires any software provider wishing to decrypt them to request decryption keys by contacting their servers for each log. To ensure the highest standards of data security for our users and for legal reasons, Esri is not willing to do this.

I encourage you and any other person interested in this capability to advocate to DJI to make their logs readable or for them to publicly describe decryption methods.

Regards,
Nico
