Offset overlapping vector lines

Hello,

I'm trying to make a legible map of bus routes, and I have a bunch of vector lines representing transit routes. I know I can edit these individually to manually offset the parts that overlap, but is there a way to offset all of the overlapping segments at once? Maybe I need to create a single polyline layer first?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
