Hello,

I am very much interested in getting into GeoAI and was considering purchasing the book "GeoAI: Artificial Intelligence in GIS". Before I do so I would like to clarify the following:

  1. If I buy this book, will I be eligible to redeem an EVA code for a 180-day ArcGIS software trial?
  2. I had purchased the book "Cartography. The Definitive Guide to Making Maps" earlier in 2024, Is this book eligible for an EVA code.
  3. If I get the trial via EVA, will the trial license include an Advance level (or equivalent) so that I can fully use the GeoAI toolbox and t its tools (e.g. those that require Advanced licensing or extensions). I have been a user of ArcGIS for Personal Use for the last few years, but I understand that the new license does not have the Advanced license. And will this trial license include the ESRI maintenance program enabling to access the e-Learning.

Appreciating your clarification and feedback.

Thanks for your questions!

Questions 1 and 2: No, those books don't come with codes. Only select workbooks include them.

Question 3: New workbooks that come with codes now use Promo Codes. These provide a Student Use license, details on what products and services are incuded are here.

Thank you, Craig, for the clarification.
I appreciate the clear explanations. That helps me understand which books include EVA code and what to expect from the Student Use license.

Thank you once again
