We are so excited for the 2021 Esri User Conference, July 12-15! The #EsriUC will be virtual again this year. Curious what the education community can expect at this year’s UC? We’ve got you covered.
Be sure to view the conference’s detailed agenda to ensure you won’t miss the Plenary, user sessions, and workshops that are of interest. Additionally, a digital swag bag will be available for download.
You also can create a personalized profile making networking in a virtual environment more seamless.
The Esri User Conference has many presentations, technical workshops, events, and activities spanning hundreds of topics. To help you find your way to the Education related sessions and events, we have prepared a more focused agenda. Download the flier here.
Here are a few sessions we recommend attending:
There is much being offered to those that register for this year’s conference including the Esri UC Virtual Run/Walk/Bike where users can run, walk, or bike anywhere and any distance, at any point during the #EsriUC, and contribute to the goal of journeying around the world.
Not only will attendees be able to contribute to the goal of traveling ‘around the world’ but in addition, we have hidden multiple ‘easter eggs’ or rather ‘GeoPro Badges’ throughout the event platform that attendees can collect during the duration of the conference. Collect as many as possible by visiting as many ‘virtual’ areas of the conference and earn intricate badges along the way!
Also available to attendees will be the Esri Merch Store where you can purchase fun Esri / geospatial merchandise.
Be moved by inspiring stories, explore new technologies, and learn how GIS can help create a sustainable future.
An exciting lineup of speakers will be joining Jack Dangermond for the Plenary sessions, Monday, July 12 from 8:30am-12:00pm (PDT) and Tuesday, July 13 from 8:30am-10:00am (PDT).
Explore the plenary sessions and speakers and be sure to add the Plenary Sessions to your #EsriUC schedule.
With thousands of your fellow colleagues, peers, and GIS enthusiasts attending from around the globe, the conference platform will have a Virtual Info Desk built in so you can better navigate your way through the platform.
Visit the Virtual Info Desk to chat with Esri staff and they will get you connected to:
Each year, whether in person or virtual, Esri users and organization are recognized. Watch the Plenary to hear about the recipients who will receive awards such as:

Join us at the virtual Expo to engage with experts and fellow educators and discover GIS-powered products and services.
We will have many Universities exhibiting at the UC such as:
The Expo will house partners that will have demonstration rooms, along with Learn ArcGIS, Esri Training, Education Services, and Esri Press will all have their own space within the Expo.
Follow Esri Press on Facebook and Twitter to find out about new resources and activities especially designed for Esri UC week, regardless of whether you’re registered for the conference or not.
