We’re nearing our second virtual Esri User Conference (UC). Though we miss seeing your smiling faces, listening to your thoughtful questions about our books, and (of course) watching that growing line of people waiting for the end-of-conference book giveaway, we have plenty of exciting options for you to engage during the Esri UC, regardless of registration.

Keep reading to see what we’ve got in store for you:

  • New 2021 catalog: We’ve updated our printable, 2-page PDF catalog for our new and forthcoming titles. During the week of Esri UC, click on the Documents board on our main Esri Community space to learn about:
    • NEW editions of GIS Tutorial for ArcGIS Pro and Getting to Know ArcGIS Pro
    • NEW volumes of Women and GIS and GIS for Science
    • NEW children’s books
    • NEW industry-focused books, including health data analytics, conservation, and graphic design
  • New author interviews: They’re back! We have new interviews with authors and co-editors of some of our recently published books. During the week of Esri UC, check out our YouTube playlist here to learn more about these authors and co-editors and their books:

  • Children’s read-along: Here is an activity for your budding mapmakersa read-along with our newest children’s book, The Locators: Adventure in South America with co-author and Esri librarian Colleen Conner. Drop in to our YouTube playlist any time after July 12 to have young readers follow along the first several chapters of this book about two children and their pet parrot on a mission to locate and protect endangered species in South America. Don’t have the book? No problem: We’re making the chapters for the read-along available online so anyone can come along for the adventure!
