Whilst working on ArcGIS Urban, we put a lot of effort into building a web-based modeling and planning system that helps you improve urban planning and decision-making in your community.
ArcGIS Urban supports and facilitates myriads of use cases from many domains such as regional planning, urban planning, citizen engangement or site development to name just a few. That's why we would like to know a little bit more about what you would use ArcGIS Urban for the most?
Tell us about it! We are happy to hear your thoughts and looking forward to develop an understanding within the community about current and potential future application examples of ArcGIS Urban.
Hello Dominik,
I understand that ArcGIS Urban has evolved significantly over time, but let’s dive into your inquiry about using it as a system of urban indicators. If ArcGIS Urban doesn’t directly support composite calculations from two driven metrics, we can explore alternative approaches.
But let's share with some comments ;
While ArcGIS Urban may not directly handle composite calculations, you can manually compute indicators by combining relevant metrics.
How could we use arcgis urban as a system of urban indicators in case arcgis urban doesn't support composite calculations from two driven metrics?
For Example :
This is kind of local urban indicator consist of two metrics "Population" that we get from net area then divided into our internal factor.
I am inquring about using ArcGIS Urban for validating existing data into regulations
ArcGIS Urban Couldn't be used to prepare existing senario into spaces , metrics when adding our data except 3D Mesh as a contentural layer
Thanks
Ahmed
