Failing to create Gaussin Splat

Greetings, 

I'm trying to process some drone images to a Gaussian Splat with Pro 3.6.0. After some issues with Pro crashing without warning, i've managed to process the images in a Reality Workspace. 

I get the alternative to create the Gaussian splats, but after some time it gets to the surface construction step. Then it quits with a message reading: "Failed to process task. "A non-recoverable error occurred". The machine meets the hardware requirements, so I'm a bit unsure why.
