Hi, I am trying to import CAD data (dwg file) of 400 mb in a file geodatabase using the GP tool. It takes about 30 mins to run the tool. Is there any way to improve the conversion process?

CAD To Geodatabase (Conversion)—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation

this is the best tool.  A lot goes on behind the scenes to get the data converted so make sure your cad data is clean and meets all the "if"s in the help document and that you are working with locally stored data.

I processed ~50 GB of .dwg's using the CAD To Geodatabase GP Tool recently. I did have hiccups along the way and did have to reprocess some of the data multiple times. For the most part, it worked well. But yes, it does take time.
