I am unable to search our organizations Enterprise Connection (SDE) within ArcPro catalog. I am looking for a feature class stored within our SDE but do not wish to go through every feature dataset manually looking for it. I can search the portal for our AGO Arc Online Feature Service and they show up. I can search the local geodatabase within the project and the layers shows up. Do you have to index the SDE? If so how and where do i do that? do you have to do something within the organization settings to all ow the SDE enterprise connection to be searchable within ArcPro? Any suggestions would be helpful.
Hey @MarkGambordella
It appears that items only show when they are indexed in ArcGIS Pro, refer to this post here to enable this:

Thanks. i will tryagain to index the organizations geodatabase or path to a folder where the feature classes are stored. But i have had not success in doing either. it still shows 0 have been index when i review the status of items indexed.
This is a long-standing complaint. See this thread for details Quick filter in Contents Panel in Catalog Window - Page 3 - Esri Community
I have looked at that article and several others relating to this topic. i have also tried to index the enterprise geodatabase but with no success. i do see that it finds about 200 items, then it says cancelled, and shows 0 have been indexed. but the local and network locations will index. just really need a way to search without opening 40 folders to search thru 200+ feature class to find the 1. I appreciate the reply.
