I'm working on a large terrain that will span two counties in Texas, roughly 2000 square miles. LiDAR is currently being processed into multipoints in a File Geodatabase.
Are there any benefits to building the terrain in the File Geodatabase vs Enterprise Geodatabase? The terrain will have 6 pyramid levels and around 150 GB of data. I've heard building in the fgdb and migrating to egdb runs quicker. My computer has a 6 core Intel i7 CPU with 16 GB RAM. Will increasing RAM or anything else improve the build time?
