I would like to calculate some vegetation indices for some raster layers that I have of a woodland. ArcGIS Pro does have a useful Indices gallery in the imagery tab, but I would like to use some Vegetation Indices that are not on this gallery. I need a way of manually inputting the equation for my indices, to be performed on the individual bands of my raster layers. Is there a tool or workflow anyone can suggest to help me achieve this?

Hi

You need to have a look at the Band Arithmetic raster function:

Band Arithmetic function—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation

For the Method parameter you need to select "User Defined"

You need to know what your bands in your image represent... i.e Band 4 represents the visible Red band for example.

I hope this helps!

many thanks ed
