Hello!

I wanted to ask if a bachelors degree in computer science will help get into ESRI, and would it be better to have a GIS or both? What would be the steps you would say to obtaining this job?

Start by going through this site: Esri Careers | Job Opportunities .  There is no one job at Esri, there is a wide range of positions and that wide range has a wide range of degrees and backgrounds that are important.  The bigger question is what do you want to do for a job, specifically.

I will say that it depends on the role you are looking for in your career. If you are looking at development role then it may be good to have a computer science background / education, but that does not mean a person with a GIS degree cannot do development. This also goes the other way.......

I can say that if you see a position that you are interested in, I encourage you to apply for it.

Hope this helps!

Hey @JovanniBrown - As others have mentioned, there are a wide variety of careers at Esri that align with various backgrounds. Along with checking out the Esri Careers site, I recommend joining Esri YPN if you aren't already a member. There are lots of resources around careers in general. Esri YPN has a very active Esri Community space available as well that I highly recommend checking out and subscribing to.
