Good morning!
I'm trying to use the Fill tool and it keeps getting stuck in the middle of the process and never finishes. Its gotten stuck as several different percentages (50, 56, 67, 88, 98, etc). I used this tool with no issue about a week ago, but since Friday I haven't successfully run the tool.
I can clip rasters without issue, but I had this same issue using the Nibble tool.
I've tried: using the tool in multiple different project files, clearing my cache, changing the output location, downgrading from ArcGIS pro 3.2 to 3.1, trying different DEM's. Still, the process does not finish.
I have an advanced license; spatial analysist is active. I'm currently running ArcGIS Pro 3.1.3.
Hi Robert,
I am experiencing the same issue with the Nibble tool. Before converting to float the Nibble tool got hung at 58% on the iteration phase. After converting using the Float tool, Nibble is getting hung up a 33%, still on the initiation phase.
Do you have any suggestions? Thank you.
Hi @gwyn_taylor - based upon the original posters question and what I'm seeing on the internals with Technical Support, the Nibble tool has a "love/hate" relationship with the C: drive. In one case, a customer (who had the same problem) created a temp folder on their drive and created a system variable TempFolders that points to this drive/folder. When they ran the GP tool again, the tool completed without any issues. In my Registry Editor, the Software folder->Esri->ArcGIS Pro->Raster->Environment, there is a TMPDIR variable that points to my C:\Users\<user_profile>\AppData\Local\Temp\3\ArcGISProTemp12316\
Maybe pointing this to a new drive location would help?
