Hello, I am having trouble finding a way to add custom made symbols (probably a .png file) to a point feature class in ArcGIS Pro. Any advice?

I am using picture markers (PNG Images) for custom symbols in Pro Maps/Layouts.

the images are being distorted pretty bad inside Pro. pretty basic images also nothing crazy

is there a recommended config for this type of workflow?

Xander,

Thanks for the tip as I found it useful for creating an railroad symbology for ArcGIS Online feature layers.

1) I used ESRI multi-part existing railroad symbology to fix my need for a railroad , brought it in to gimp, rotated it 90 degrees, saved as a .png24 with a transparent background.

2) I used your method above for a line symbology rather than points and it worked like a champ.

So far in testing other multi-part symbologies with the method above seems to work well.

Many thanks and Best Regards!

Tim
