So I am currently working on a project that involves determining the drainage area contributing stormwater runoff to particular catch basin in an urban watershed, I saw a similar study were the researchers burned the pipeline network into the DEM, prior to delineating the watershed. I would like to carry out the same process of burning my study area pipe network to the DEM of my study area, I have a shape file of the pipeline network and wondering if this what was burned into the DEM. Please can anyone help with the documentation for carrying out this process or any YouTube video out there showing how this process was carried out.
