When opening ArcGIS Pro with one of our organisational feature services or tile services, we "sometimes" get the below looking window appearing. You can't actually login through it (won't recognise our ArcGIS Online user credentials) and when you click Cancel, it loads the project with our custom basemap layers in ArcGIS Online sources broken whilst other feature services are ok.
We are logged in to ArcGIS Online through ArcGIS Pro already and still are despite clicking Cancel, so not sure whats going on (as you can see at the top of the screenshot).
This looks like you have added a service at one stage, like an OGC service.
Please see the following documentation for the following information
You should be able to hit the x button or cancel this window and use Pro as expected, however, if you have this service in a project or require it you will need credentials to access it. If you don't need it you can open the catalog pane, drop down the Servers folder and remove the connection wherever the connection is held.
I've had a closer look - it's not an OGC or other added service. It's definitely related to our ArcGIS Online content. The below screenshot captures the window coming up as we try to add a feature service from our AGOL environment, and when we click Cancel (because entering credentials does nothing) we get the layers added to the map with broken sources and the following error.
Hi Lindsay.
Did you have any luck resolving this issue. We are also getting a similar problem when accessing AGOL services?
Hi Nick. We did manage to resolve this (more by luck than process). There was a delay to our organisation paying the Esri bill, and thus we were running on a month-by-month extension until it was sorted. Once the bill had been paid and we reverted to our annual subscription then the issue just disappeared! This scenario also impacted our ability to log new Support tickets online (we had to email or phone support directly as we supposedly had no authorised callers).
Any other ideas why this might not be working? I am having the same issue.
Have you checked your ArcGIS Online subscription for outstanding subscription payments? Even with an extension approved by Esri, we found this issue occurred up until payment was made and the sub renewed.
We are current on all our subscriptions with AGOL, but are getting this error too. It started with an arcGIS Pro crash. Started it up again and recovered the data. But it began asking for the login information (which did nothing). Refreshed the database connection, logged out and then back in, and Pro still popped the window asking for login credentials.
Opened the same data in a new project and this seemed to resolve the issue.
Seems like we also have one user having the same issue. Not sure what is causing it.
Logged them into a different account and it all seems fine. Strange..
