In older versions of Pro like 2.6.8, we would single-click "Click to add new row" in the attribute table to add a new row.

In Case #03482018, Esri Canada Support pointed out that something has changed in recent versions of Pro. Now, we double-click "Click to add new row" to create a new row.

Should the "Click to add new row" wording be changed to "Double-click to add new row"? That's just a minor tweak, but little things like that can be helpful for new users.

In ArcGIS Pro 3.2, clicking on 'Click to add new row.' one time, whether the attribute table is already in focus or not adds a new row for me...

@KoryKramer What if it’s a new/empty FC with no user-defined columns? How many clicks are required in that scenario?

KoryKramer

Looks like two in that specific scenario:

@KoryKramer

I suppose I could change the title of this idea to something like "Click to add new row — Consistent number of clicks".

What's best for you?

  1. Close and create a new idea.
  2. Change the title and body of this idea.

@KoryKramer Feel free to close this idea. I posted a new idea here: Click to add new row — Consistent number of clicks.
