So, my team is increasingly leveraging notebooks created and shared in ArcGIS Online within ArcGIS Pro projects.
Current process (in Pro 3.2): Downloading and using a notebook from a portal requires manual download path selection and addition to an ArcGIS Pro project, and the notebook is not opened automatically.
Suggested improvement: Introduce an "Add and Open" option for notebooks in the portal tab, which would automatically download the notebook to the project's home folder (that's where I usually want it anyway), add it to the project, and open it in the current session for immediate use. Like what happens with a Map Package, for example.
Thanks for your consideration, Esri Python people. Have a wonderful day!

This idea has been implemented in ArcGIS Pro 3.4, the Download button is now "Download and Open" - it will download the notebook to the desired location (default in current workspace), open it, and add it to the project Notebook node.
