Deselect features from Table of Contents selection tab in ArcGIS Pro

In ArcGIS for desktop we can deselect features from particular layers in the event that we inadvertently select features from multiple layers - it would be nice to see that functionality return in ArcGIS Pro.

This Idea has been implemented in ArcGIS Pro 3.2. Please see the What's New documentation for more new features in Pro 3.2.

Please note that this update did NOT restore the full functionality available in ArcMap. I have started another Idea here:

This idea requests parity to ArcMap functionality (allowing users to deselect and flash individual features).
