Is there a way to easily change the default value in a hosted feature layer (preferably in AGOL, not in ArcPro)?
I'm making multiple view layers based off of the authoritative hosted feature layer. In each view layer, I'd like the property name to auto-fill (or be filled in by the default value), so the user doesn't have to type it in each time, it fills at run-time so I can easily use the data in dashboards at run-time, and so I don't have to pull data down into ArcPro to update it. Using managed expressions in Arcade could work, but I'd still have to calculate the field later for it to really be in the database.
This post in 2020 gave a work around, but wondered if anything had been updated since then.
