System monitor on ArcGIS Monitor 10.8.1 doesn't show as validated - test never completes

Question

I'm trying to troubleshoot some issues with our monitor alerts - I'm not very proficient with the program yet, and have noticed that one of our System monitors continues to show that it is not validated (isValidated value is False) in Properties.

When I attempt to run the "Test" action for that system - it just continues to spin with no indication that the Test is complete.

Is there some other way to re-validate this System monitor?

This suggests to me that you're still new and learning about ArcGIS Monitor. Which is great. I strongly recommend that you use the latest ArcGIS Monitor 2024.1.1 release instead of the 10.8.1 release.

FYI, ArcGIS Monitor 10.8.1 has been in mature support since Aug 2024 and there is no active development on it. ArcGIS Monitor's architecture and UI/UX was completely updated and revised since the 2023.0 release.

You are better off learning how to use new Monitor, instead of the older, classic version.
