Ability to hide/remove attachment filename from Operational Dashboard media

When showing attachments in the detail widget of an operational dashboard by enabling media you cannot currently remove the filename being displayed with the image. It would be great if we could disable this/have the option to hide it.

This would remarkably improve the professional look and feel of dashboards. 

A simple on/off toggle button could do the job.

Any news regarding this idea?  Is this idea technically feasible? Could this become a potential upgrade in a future Dashboard update? 

Unfortunately, this "tiny" detail has a substantial impact the feel and experience of our dashboards.

Yep - a toggle is a great option. I have Dashboards where the name is useful and others where it is useless!

Agree, this small option would have a significant impact on the look and feel of imagery in the dashboard.

When you are using a public survey and people are submitting pictures, the filenames are not consistent. This would make the dashboards look more professionally and reduce the work we need to do behind the scenes (like uploading the file again).

The Details element in dashboards uses the out of the box popup widget from the JavaScript API. This would be a design enhancement request for that widget. I will move this idea to that queue.

Thanks for moving this idea, @patrickb. Any idea if a solution might make it into the upcoming AGO update? For another example, we have partners submit their logos as part of our annual Celebrate Trails Day in April and it would be great to be able to hide the filenames from these popups.

This has been implemented for ArcGIS API for JavaScript version 4.25, which is planned for release November 2022. Already available for testing using the "next" version.
